NSCAD is full of pretty unrealistic timelines. A painting a week? Why not!
So because of my tight schedule, here is my finished painting of Adam and David.
There seems to be a general consensus on this one that Adam looks like Adam, but David does not look like David. Either way, I’m pretty happy with how it all turned out. I kept a lot of drawing elements in the piece because I have a tendency to make the entire canvas very chunky and thick and I wanted to have a few thinner sections in this one.
I’ll be spending most of the day tomorrow on my new, very time consuming, medium of printmaking. Who knew that all that information from grade 10 science class would relate to one of my art classes? All my science teachers, thats who. I’ll be posting the fruits of my labour up soon.
